Regular Sessions from the Stone Tennis club

  • Tuesday 'out of breath' session - Suspended until January 2010
  • Wednesday an ad-hoc run goes out at 17.30 for those wishing to put in extra miles
  • Wednesday 18:30 choice of distances up to 8 miles
  • Wednesday 18:30 'improvers run' slower pace to 4 miles
  • Wednesday 18.30 beginners run between 2 and 4 miles intended to give newcomers a chance to try the club and then move on to the above runs
  • Sunday 09:00 choice of distances typically longer


'Out of Breath' sessions

These are training sessions organised by John Clemens coach@stonemm.co.uk

They consist of structured track training and hill/stamina work.  All welcome

TRAINING UPDATE: The sessions will be suspended for November and December 2009, if enough people are interested I will start them again in the New Year for those who want to speed up for the 2010 race season, or do some speed endurance work with a Spring Marathon in mind.


All welcome as you are to any of the sessions.

Please remember that we are guests at the track ,and  to stick to the basic rules, I have copies of these and will try to make sure all newcomers receive a copy.
