Showground Relays

This is an event we’ve enjoyed for many years and it’s always a great evening with a strong team atmosphere.
As a thank you to our members for their continued support and contribution to the club, Stone Master Marathoners will contribute £4 towards each runner’s entry fee, meaning the cost to take part is just £5 per person.
Event details
Date: Wednesday 10th June
Race start: 7:30 pm
Please arrive by: 7:00 pm
Course: Accurate 2‑mile route on tarmac drives and solid woodland pathways
Teams: 4 runners per team
Parking: Ample parking available near the start/finish area
Additional information
Teams will be organised by the club once numbers are confirmed
This is a friendly, club‑focused event suitable for runners of all abilities
Supporters are very welcome, and cheering is encouraged
Please wear your club vest on race night if you have one
We’re planning to enjoy some nibbles and drinks throughout the event, so feel free to bring along a few nibbles to share
If there is enough interest, we’ll also look to have an informal meet‑up after the event to enjoy a drink and a chat — location TBC
What you need to do
If you are going, mark yourself as attending on Spond and pay your £5 entry fee
Payment is by bank transfer (details available on Spond)
Closing date: We need to know who is attending by Tuesday 3rd June so that teams and entries can be finalised.
